How do I set up RedVector to remember my username/password?

To set your computer so a website will remember a username and/or password you will have to alter the settings within your browser.

If you would like (and other RedVector hosted websites) to save your login data you can set your internet browser to do this by using the following steps:

Internet Explorer Version 8+:

  1. Go to Tools>Internet Options
  2. Select the Content tab at the top
  3. Click the Setting button under the Auto Complete section
  4. Check off the box that says “User names and passwords on forms”
    • We also suggest checking the box that says “Ask me before saving passwords”

Google Chrome Version 10+:

  1. Select the Google Chrome menu (It looks like 3 bold lines in the top right corner of your browser)
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Show advanced settings near the bottom
  4. Under Password and Forms check the box next to Enable Autofill and Offer to save passwords

Firefox Version 6+:

  1. Select Tools>Options from the top menu
  2. Select the Privacy tab
  3. Change the drop down menu to Use Custom Settings for History
  4. Make Sure Always Use Private Browsing Mode is unchecked
  5. Check Remember search and form History
  6. Hit Ok

  1. Click the Tools/Gear Icon in the top right corner
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Select the AutoFill Tab
  4. Check the box that says User names and passwords
