The course time is running but the screen is blank

  • Why does this happen? – Courses are comprised of different components like text, audio, and video. In this case, the course is trying to play a video (flash) component but your current browser is not configured to run that flash file.
  • How can I fix it? Adobe Flash is a free browser plugin that will allow your computer to play those flash video files. You can download this free software by following the steps below.
  1. Visit the Adobe website: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
  2. Uncheck the boxes for “Optional Offers” and then select “Install now"
  3. As soon as you select “Install now” the download will start and you will see a bar on the bottom of your screen that looks like the image below. Select the “Run” button.
  4. Adobe will prompt you to close the browser window, so just click on the red “X” to close your browser
  5. Once you close the browser, click the “Continue” button to complete the download process.
  6. The Adobe Flash Player bar will now appear, click on “Finish” once complete.
  7. Restart your computer for the download to take effect.
  8. Once restarted, go back to the RedVector login screen and enter your credentials: https://www.redvector.com/lms/lms.web/Login/
  9. Sign in and click to play the course again, it should now run properly.
