In order to run RedVector successfully on your device, please make sure you are up-to-date with the following system requirements outlined below.
Browsers
RedVector courses work best with the most recent version of Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, iOS, Android, and Internet Explorer 11+.
Note: Individual security and firewall settings can affect the functionality of a course.
Bandwidth
Bandwidth refers to the maximum data transfer rate of a network or Internet connection. We recommend a 2 Mb connection or better for smooth course behavior. This will depend on the number of users connecting in a particular location at the same time.
Some items that will affect Bandwidth include:
- Number of individuals accessing the internet: When multiple people use a single connection, more devices use up the bandwidth of the connection.
- WiFi connection and routers
- Proximity to routers: The closer you are to a router, the better your connection will be.
- Number of Internet-based processes you use on your computer: If you are using too many Internet-based processes, your connection might be slower.
Hardware
We recommend Windows 7 or higher and a memory of at least 4GB for smooth course behavior.
